The 3M Easy Trap Duster System is a product designed to make it easier to dust mop just about any floor surface.
I stumbled across it at a trade show for the cleaning industry a few months back. After speaking with company representatives they gave me a bunch of samples to try out. We’ve been testing them ever since.
The product reminds me of a dryer sheet, just thicker with a tacky feel to it. They attach to the bottom of just about any of your current floor dusting tools. It can be used on both wet and dry surfaces, doesn’t create a lot of drag when used and you can use both sides to maximize it’s use. The manufacturer claims that they hold six times more debris than traditional mops and dusting devices.
We’ve been very pleased with how well they worked for us when testing them. The feedback has also been overwhelmingly positive from others as well. For instance we gave them to family members to try out and all of them were so impressed they wanted to purchase the product for themselves.
3M Easy Trap Duster System Reviews
I asked for some honest feedback from those I gave it to and I received a few that I’ll share with you. They were given the same sample packages we used in our cleaning company, and this is what they said…
“The 3M sweeper pad works better than a swiffer. It picks up more dirt and pet hair than swiffer and keeps it in the pad. With swiffer sometimes it just pushes the dirt around, and you can cut it to size to fit on the bottom of a swiffer or use on a large dust mop. If you put it on the swiffer handle or on the bottom of a dust mop it will stay there.”
“I liked it better because it picks up the dust and the hair on the bathroom floor, much better than a plain dust mop or a swiffer. I have a big area to clean and it works great on the bottom of a large dust mop. Makes cleaning much faster. I think if you read the package it can be used wet or dry.”
I’ll wrap this up by saying that we’ve been very pleased with how well the 3M Easy Trap Duster System performs. Couple that with the positive feedback we received from some very discriminating family members and you have a product that is worth trying out for yourself.

Isn’t it expensive?

Hi Jim! Not that expensive in my opinion. I think they are worth trying. If you have people working for you, maybe just educate them on using them properly so they don’t waste any.
