When I saw this image to the right it reminded me of what you have to do when you own a business. You must ADVERTISE!
In a nutshell you have to do whatever you can to SPREAD THE WORD that your company is open and actively seeking business.
It can be tough in the beginning stages because money can be tight, and you have to be creative to get the word out. That’s why cheap flyers can be helpful. I created one last week, and it seemed to be popular, so I created another one for everyone out there to emulate.
Feel free to use the copy as you see fit. It can be left as is or tweaked a bit so that it favors commercial or residential cleaning. As was the case with last weeks free flyer, this is not a download, so you’ll have to make it yourself. You will also need an image like the one I used (or something similar).
I bought my image off this page if you want some ideas. Normally I buy “credits”, not the subscription. The credits cost more, but they don’t require a long term commitment (which I like). Anyway… have fun with the free flyer example. Let me know if you like it too!

Hi Tom.
Just landed a huge apartment complex move out cleaning contract that includes recurrent cleaning of the rental office but they need me to submit invoice by mail weekly. How can I find electronic invoice for free?. Everyone needs paymet on the internet. Please, point me in the right direction. I need your help. Thanks.
Gus.
Tom Watson says
Hi Gus! Did you consider PayPal? It’s free, you can invoice from within your account and it’s widely accepted.

I am considering starting a commercial cleaning business and am wondering how to determine how much to charge? Do you charge an hourly wage or by the job?
Tom Watson says
