I know the summer is upon us. Going to the beach to swim sounds like fun. Fishing by the lake seems like a good idea.
That movie you’ve been wanting to see just came out and it’s playing tonight at a theater nearby. They all sound like fun!
But how about that business you’ve been wanting to build for yourself (and your family). You know, the one that you’ve dreamed about since you were a child. How is that going? Are you putting in the time to make it work? What have you sacrificed? Where are you on that? Did you get anything done?
Maybe you already did start that dream business and your goal was to GROW IT AND MAKE IT PROSPER. Are the goals you set for it being accomplished after six months in the books of 2018? Six months is a lot of time. You can get a lot done in half a calendar year!
I guess you can see where I’m going with this post. Time flies folks! It’s the New Year one moment and it’s half over the next. Time is something that needs to be RESPECTED. You don’t get it back. You get to do a lot of things over in life but going back in time isn’t one of them.
So I encourage you to reflect on where you are and where you want to go for the next six months because it’s going to come up pretty fast. And if you don’t apply yourself, you run the risk of missing out on an entire years worth of possibilities. And that is a tough pill for your dreams to swallow.

Business is still growing here. Work at night, sales calls by day. Living the dream. $1500 a week on 25 hours, just like MacDonalds, im lovin it.

Wow, thank you so much for that post. I definitely needed that reminder. I have been listening to your podcasts probably 4-5 for the last couple of days. Im really disappointed with myself for not doing it sooner. I have gained alot of education out of them and have experienced some of the same results. Thank you

I worked nights in full-time, now working nights in part-time (my girlfriend’s working mornings), the aim is to quit working for someone else once and for all. Compared to how new (3 months “old”) our business is, we can’t complain. The only “issue” is when our jobs interfere with the business which is pretty annoying. I only sleep a couple of hours, go to clean (mostly end-of-tenancy, ca. 5-6 hrs) and get back to work at night. But we still can’t leave our jobs because the business is fluctuating pretty well so it’s not stable, yet. We’ll never give up, though.
